PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Zee Malas has 24 years of professional experience including his
work as a professional draftsman for telecommunication and civil
engineering companies in Colorado and California. Mr. Malas
specializes in cartography, including analyzing data, drawing and
editing final maps.
He has produced telecommunication maps, mapping
for street improvement, sewer, drainage, and subdivision projects
for Civil Engineering firms and in support of archaeological
projects. Additionally, Mr. Malas has 12 years of experience with
professional photography for the advertising, medical and scientific
fields in Delaware, Ohio, Colorado, California, and Europe.
Zee serves as ASM’s Graphic Designer and Cartographer. He produces all graphic
elements for ASM’s technical reports including project mapping,
field and laboratory photography, soil profiles, and cover designs.
Mr. Malas has produced graphics for use in technical reports
submitted to the Department of the Navy, U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers, USDI Bureau of Reclamation, USDI Bureau of Land
Management, U.S. Forest Service, Caltrans, SDG&E, Imperial Irrigation
District, and the Centre City Development Corporation, among others.
Zee also produces all of ASM’s marketing and advertising materials.
He has created educational videos and multimedia video presentations
for ASM's web site.
ASM made his video animation of Ancient Lake Cahuilla available to
an Environmental Studies group in
Mexicali and Baja California Norte
region.
In 2007, the video presentation designed by Zee for SDG&E entitled, “Protecting Sensitive
Cultural Resources”, received a Certificate of Merit from the
Association of Environmental Professionals in the Outstanding
Environmental Resource Document category. |
