PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Ms. Lechner is a Senior Archaeologist for ASM in Reno, Nevada. She has 10 years of professional archaeological experience in California and the Great Basin. Ms. Lechner has worked on a variety of projects, both survey and excavation, in the Central Valley, Sierra Foothills, and Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, as well as in the Mojave Desert and Eastern Sierras. While primarily a prehistorian, Ms. Lechner has some previous experience with historic resources, particularly those related to the historic Chinese community. In addition to survey and excavation she specializes in faunal analysis and has contributed analyses to several technical reports. Ms. Lechner is also actively involved in volunteering in the processing and cataloging of archived archaeological collections at CSU Sacramento.
