MICHELLE DALOPE, B.A.Associate Archaeologist/GIS Specialist EDUCATION
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEMs. Dalope's experience includes laboratory analysis, cultural resource reconnaissance, archaeological testing, and data recovery excavations throughout southern California including participation in field projects in San Diego, Riverside, Imperial, Kern, San Bernardino, and Tulare counties, California. Ms. Dalope has also participated in survey and excavation projects in the Mojave and Colorado deserts. As a laboratory analyst her duties include the identification, sorting, and cataloging of artifacts from various San Diego and Kern County late prehistoric archaeological sites. Additional duties include updating State of California site record forms and write up of archaeological site synopsis in archaeology reports. Ms. Dalope also assists the ASM production staff in preparing mapping & graphics for technical reports. She has monitored construction projects within the City and County of San Diego and is certified by the City of San Diego as an archaeological monitor. Ms. Dalope assists in conducting records searches at the regional CHRIS Information Centers in San Diego, California State University Fullerton, and the University of Riverside. Her interest focuses on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and prehistoric archaeology.
