PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Ms. Sibley has two years of experience in various manners of prehistoric and historic archaeology.
She earned a B.A. from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2005, and is currently working on an M.A.
degree from California State University, Sacramento. Using source data from obsidian artifacts
collected throughout Washoe County, Ms. Sibley’s research focuses on the question of mobility
and the acquisition of obsidian. She expects to graduate in 2010.
Ms. Sibley has been involved with survey,
monitoring, testing, and data recovery projects throughout the Great Basin, and Eastern California.
She is also involved in report writing, and the production of GIS graphics.
