KIMBERLY SCOTTAssociate Marketing Director EDUCATION
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEMs. Scott has 10 years of experience working for state, federal, private and non-governmental organizations in a program management capacity, specifically involving cultural and environmental resources. She has conducted land use and environmental monitoring projects while working for the Bureau of Land Management and the National Park Service; archaeological project management and technical publication for the Whaley House and Nate Harrison Historical Archaeology Projects in San Diego, California; and worked as an archaeological site interpreter/monitor for a Sinaguan/Pueblo Indian site in Sedona, Arizona. Ms. Scott enjoys working in a development and creative marketing capacity for ASM Affiliates, as well as offering her technical expertise in faunal and historic material analysis. Ms. Scott’s project development experience includes involvement in the implementation of a newly designated National Monument Visitor Center in the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument in 2001, as well as curation, education, and underwater archaeological survey assistance for the National Park Service at the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor, Honolulu, Hawaii. She has collaborated directly with Native American groups in Alaska and California interpreting cultural history as a park ranger and professional tour guide; as well as technical experience writing NAGPRA and site reports and analyzing material as a researcher for the Archaeological Collections Management Program at San Diego State University. Ms. Scott has 10 years of teaching and community outreach experience, and integrates her background and technical knowledge to the position of Associate Marketing Director. |
