PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Ms. Manske has experience as a field archaeologist with survey,
testing, monitoring, and data recovery methodology for both historic
and prehistoric sites. She has worked on projects for private
developers, mining corporations and several government agencies
including the BLM, V-DOT, Caltrans, and The Department of Defense.
Ms. Manske spent three years as a field archaeologist for eight CRM
companies.
She has work experience in the Northeast, Middle Atlantic, Great
Lakes, Great Basin, California’s Mojave Desert, Interior Valley,
Northeast & North Coast Range, and Northwest regions of the United
States.
As an Associate Archaeologist at ASM Affiliates,
Ms. Manske is responsible for processing technical information by
writing report sections, preparing various tables and charts, and
completing site forms and photo logs. Her pre-field duties include
arranging and performing archival research at the appropriate
government agencies including the Bureau of Land Management and the
Nevada State Museum.
As a laboratory assistant, Ms. Manske is responsible
for cataloging, processing and analysis of complex
prehistoric and historic collections.
She also supervises daily lab activities. Her analysis specialties
include perishable technology and perishable technology production
tools.
