PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Mr. Latham has a broad range of experience as a
participant in both local and large federal government projects.
He
has worked in California, Nevada, and Arizona, and has experience
working in Israel, Uganda, and Kenya.
These projects included field
inventories, National Register eligibility testing, and data
recovery.
Mr. Latham has worked on a number of military
bases, including Twentynine Palms MCAGCC, China Lake NAWS, Yuma
Proving Ground, the Barry M. Goldwater Gunnery Range, and Edwards
AFB. Mr. Latham has also worked on USFS and BLM land and has
training in site mapping
and recordation.
Working in
the laboratory, he has identified the technological, morphological
and functional attributes
of various lithic assemblages and assisted in cataloging data and
artifacts from various sites in California and the Great Basin. Mr.
Latham’s interests focus on proto-historic/contact aboriginal
archaeology in the western United States.
