FEARLESSASM Takes On Challenges That Most Companies Shy Away FromArchaeology often involves sensitive issues. Few companies offer the level of sensitivity to the resources, interest groups, and stakeholders that ASM does. We are proud that we’ve gained the level of trust with our clients, agency staff, and with Native American groups that allows us to work on some of the most sensitive sites and projects in the region. In many instances, we’ve been contracted directly by Native American tribal groups. Recently, ASM was called upon to take over an extremely sensitive project after the original contractor defaulted following the expressed dissatisfaction of the Native American community with the proposed handling of 14 burial sites discovered during construction monitoring. ASM’s forensic services, as well as comprehensive and respectful consultation with Native American representatives, provided the foundation for successful reburial of all human remains and funerary items. |
