ASM has serviced some of the most high-profile energy projects in the western U.S for clients such as San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), Southern California Edison (SCE), Iberdrola Renewables, Invenergy, and Pattern Energy. These projects have been completed throughout the western U.S. Recent experience includes the development and documentation of a cultural resource inventory, and the implementation of resource avoidance strategies and treatment planning for system improvements and new construction of long linear high voltage transmission lines throughout the western desert.

ASM also provides more specialized services including, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), curation services, management planning and GIS. By servicing projects for these and other clients, ASM has been instrumental in the development and implementation of the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) guidelines for cultural resources investigations relating to energy projects. When it comes to energy-related cultural resource work, our wealth of experience, regulatory knowledge and strong personnel give us a unique edge over our competition.
