PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Adam Berg has 10 years of experience as a professional archaeologist and earned his
Master’s Degree in Anthropology, with an emphasis in archaeology,
from Northern Arizona University in 2000. His research interests
include reconstructing Great Basin and Southwestern prehistoric
settlement patterns and subsistence technology. His graduate
research focused on modeling settlement patterns and evaluation of
site use patterns of prehistoric agricultural puebloan groups living
near the San Juan River in southeast Utah.
Mr. Berg has experience supervising cultural resource
management projects in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Oregon
and has acted as consultant for a variety of federal, state, and
local government agencies, private architectural and engineering
firms, private landowners, energy and utility companies, and other
clients. He is currently listed on the Register of Professional
Archaeologists and is a Project Archaeologist in ASM’s Reno Office.
